Bematek Laboratory Mixers

Bematek's Laboratory Mixers feature a patented, high-shear in-line design for liquids and flowable slurries that facilitates scale-up from laboratory to production requirements.

The L-Series High-Shear In-Line Mixer for emulsions, dispersions, and fine suspensions provides continuous homogeneous output down to 1 micron and eliminates the need for tanks. Featuring a mixing head with from 1 to 12 shear-action zones, consisting of high speed rotors and stators which can produce shear rates of 200,000 per second each, this modular design facilitates scale-up from laboratory to production requirements. Capable of handling samples from batches as small as 85 ml, it is available with two mixing head sizes, depending upon the residence time necessary. The shear-action elements are easily accessible for cleaning or tailoring them to a specific application. Constructed from 316L stainless steel, it is USDA-, FDA-, and 3A-compliant, only needs a 2' sq footprint, and 110 Single-phase or 220 3-phase power.
