Bematek's simplified milling head assembly design requires no special tools to assemble and is designed for fast and easy clean-in-place (CIP) operation. The Z-Series models feature a milling head consisting of a feed impeller to assist the flow of product into the rotor / stator gap; a stainless steel conical rotor; and a stainless steel, water-jacketed stator. The ideal rotor / stator combination is determined by the specific application and standard combinations are available for:
Low-, medium-, or high-viscosity products
Smooth-textured, pulpy, or fibrous products
Abrasive slurries
Friable products
Fine grinding.
Standard Features
Options
Conical, matched rotor / stator set
Rotor / stator gap may be adjusted with mill running
316L stainless steel wettables with Viton o-rings
Rotor speeds up to 10,000 fpm, to suit application
Single or double mechanical seal, as needed
Alternative rotor / stator materials and designs
Alternative seal face materials
Electrical V-F drive for rotor speed control
All stainless steel construction means no paint chipping or rusting
Gap is adjustable while machine is running, allowing accurate control of product consistency.
Milling head requires no special tools to assemble and it’s smooth contour design allows for clean in place. Provides quick set-up and easy clean up.
Lab results are scaleable to production machines, allowing you to speed product to market.
All product contact surfaces made from 316L stainless steel for 3A, USDA, and FDA compliance.
Improved heavy-duty drive end allows for precision control of rotor / stator concentricity, means routine cleaning and service will not effect factory-set alignment.
