BEVERLY, MA— A self-contained, dynamic in-line mixer that is on wheels and can be moved from tank-to-tank within a plant to provide complete mixing before the next process, is available by Bematek Systems, Inc. of Beverly, Massachusetts.

Bematek’s Dynamic In-Line Mixer features a patented mixing head with shear-action zones which assure that an entire product batch will receive exactly the same level of processing and totally repeatable batch-to-batch results. Eliminating the need for tank mixing and costly storage tanks, this mixer is available on wheels and can be moved anywhere within a plant to rapidly, thoroughly, and uniformly mix emulsions, dispersions, and suspensions.

Capable of assuring particle size reduction, deagglomeration, blending and homogenization, Bematek’s Dynamic In-Line Mixer passes all product through a mixing head equipped with from 1 to 12 “shear-action” zones consisting of high speed rotors and stators that can produce shear rates of 200,000 per second ea. These modular mixing elements are easily exchanged to “fine-tune” the mixing process. This mixer is USDA-, FDA- and 3A –compliant.
