DYNAMIC IN-LINE MIXER
FEATURES HI-SHEAR ACTION MIXING HEAD

BEVERLY, MA— A compact, dynamic in-line mixer that features a patented mixing head with up to 12 “shear action zones” which can produce shear rates of 200,000/sec. Each is available from Bematek, Inc. of Beverly, Massachusetts.

The Bematek LZ-Series Sanitary Dynamic In-Line Mixer can perform particle size reduction, de-agglomeration, blending, and homogenization to customer requirements with output down to 1 micron and reduced processing time. Featuring a mixing head consisting of stators and high speed rotors that can be set-up to create from 1 to 12 shear action zones producing shear rates of 200,000/sec. each, all product passes through this in-line mixing head.

Providing totally repeatable batch-to-batch results, the Bematek LZ-Series Sanitary Dynamic In-Line Mixer eliminates the need for tank mixing and costly storage tanks. The modular mixing head elements are easily changed to fine-tune the mixing process and this USDA-, FDA-, and 3A-compliant mixer is constructed from 316L stainless steel and is available on wheels.

The LZ-Series Sanitary Dynamic In-Line Mixers are priced from $11,995.00. They will be exhibited at INTERPHEX 2006, March 21-23, 2006 at the Javits Convention Center, NY at the Roplan Booth #1678.
